OFFERINGS & TIMETABLES

Beginner and Beyond (Hatha) not as challenging as ashtanga/vinyasa, but a lovely bit of movement meeting you where ever you are. You do you!  It's all an invitation.

Yin Yoga- not physically the most challenging, but mentally it can be, this practice will force stillness as we work deeper into the body focusing on our breath and holding passive positions for a few minutes.

Restorative- does what it says on the tin. Gentle movement, ironing out the creases and coming back into our bodies.

Nervous system regulation – through yoga, breath, and sound, helping you feel more grounded and less like you’re about to launch into orbit.

Tools to reconnect with your body – not in a “look at my handstand” way, but in a “hey body, we’re on the same team” way.

Support from someone who gets it: I’ve lived through anxiety, trauma, illness, motherhood, and the messy in-betweens.

A safe, no-judgement space – come as you are, whether you’re falling apart or just fed up

The benefits of working with me

Relief from people-pleasing and burnout – we untangle the habit of putting yourself last.

A blend of science and soul – grounded in psychotherapy and mental health work, but with space for magic, too

A gentle path back to yourself – no pressure, no perfection, just progress in your own time.

This is totally understandable and so very common.  Please do get in touch with me and we can arragne for you to come and see the space and meet the teacher.

Or we can arrange a phone call to answer any questions you may have and have a go at settling those nerves.  The first step is always the hardest.

I'm a bit nervous about trying something new

For all yoga and sound healing you can book via the Gymcatch link.  Here you will need to register with a few details about yourself, and then you are free to either book a single session or browse the packages on offer.

Once you have selected a package, however - you need to then go on and use the credits against the classes you want to book. You will automatically be recredited if you cancel a class with 24 hour's notice.

To book Pilates - please email Gitte (her email is under Meet the Team).
To book with other facilitators for their monthly sessions please also email them, again their details are in 'Meet the Team'.

If you have any issues with any of this you can email me nat@studioeight.com and I will be able to help.

How do I book?

We have most things you need including mats, blocks, bolsters, straps and, most importantly, blankets.  But it is up to you if you are more comfortable bringing your own.  We recommend wearing layers as sometimes in stillness we can get chilly, and bring a bottle of water.

What do I need to bring to class?

Absolutely yes!  What your body does and doesn't do isn't important.  What we achieve is reconnection of all of the parts of you.  Your mind to your body, gently bringing the awareness of self into one place.  Flexibility isn't actually a 'physical' issue anyway, it's a nervous system issue.  That's what we work with.

I'm not very fit or flexible, will I be able to do Yoga or Pilates?

Questions & Answers

I heard yoga and spirituality is a bit culty.  Is this true?

Not gonna lie - its' wild out there.  There are some very interesting teachers, leaders and egos in the world, and yes, plenty of unethical practices.  But none of that here you will be pleased to know.

Curiosity is essential, philosophy without question is certainly culty and we have lots of questions!

Our studio is about self exploration.  We don't have all the answers, but we do have a safe non-judgemental space where you can explore the tools that may work for you and meet some very lovely people along the way.
